Terms of Service

1. Confidentiality

LA COOP is a private, invite-only beta. Waitlist applications are open to the public, but the product behind the gate is not. After you are approved, you agree not to share screenshots, recordings, or non-public details of the app’s features, design, bugs, or member content outside the product (including on social media) without our permission. You may say that you applied or that you are in the beta, and you may share the public waitlist / marketing site. Do not share your login or give access to people who are not approved members.

2. Feedback

If you send us feedback, suggestions, or ideas, we may use them to improve the product without owing you credit or compensation. If you send feedback, ideas, or bug reports, you give LA COOP a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free right to use that feedback to improve the product. We are not required to use it or to compensate you.

3. No Warranty

The app is early-stage and may contain bugs, downtime, or data loss. It is provided “as is” with no guarantees during the beta period. LA COOP is not liable for lost content, lost opportunity, or damages arising from use of a pre-release product, to the fullest extent allowed by law.

4. Access Can Be Revoked

We may suspend or end your beta access at any time, for any reason, without notice.

5. Your Data

We collect basic account information (such as your email address) to operate the beta. We will not sell your personal information. Data may be reset or changed as we develop the app. See our Privacy Policy for details.

6. Private beta (not open beta)

LA COOP is not an open beta. Applying to the waitlist does not guarantee access. Membership is personal, may change or end at any time, and does not guarantee a later public product, features, or membership.

7. Your account

You must provide accurate information and keep your sign-in to yourself. You are responsible for activity on your account. We may pause or remove access if these terms are broken or if the community is at risk.

8. Content you post

You keep rights in content you post. You grant LA COOP a license to host, display, and distribute that content as needed to run the network. Do not post anything illegal, harmful, or that you do not have the right to share.

9. Conduct

Be respectful. No harassment, spam, impersonation, scraping, or attempts to break the product. We may remove content or accounts that violate this.

10. Age

You must be at least 13 years old. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you are 13–17, you confirm a parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these terms and our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms. If you do not agree, stop using the beta and ask us to close your account.

Checking the box and submitting your application constitutes your electronic signature and acceptance of these terms, equivalent to a handwritten signature.
